BuildTeck

BuildTeck is the emerging technology layer powering faster housing delivery across Canada. Coined and led by the Canadian Offsite Alliance (COA), BuildTeck refers to the integrated use of digital tools, automation, and AI systems to streamline all non-construction phases of housing.
Including permitting, zoning, site approvals, consultant coordination, and AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) interactions.

BuildTeck will introduce and include technologies like:

  • Automated zoning and permitting systems

  • GIS-integrated project planning

  • Digital coordination with traffic, fire, geotechnical, and other permit required consultants

  • Compliance checking for CSA A277 and building codes

  • Project risk dashboards and digital performance bonds
